Tinubu Show Love! 70k Minimum Wage and CNG Buses!

Just In:  Organized labour, FG reportedly agree on N70,000 as new minimum wage 

The Federal Government and the organised labour have agreed on 70 thousand Naira as the new National Minimum Wage.

This was the outcome of the latest meeting between President Bola Tinubu and leadership of the organised labour, which took place at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris disclosed this at the end of the meeting between the organized labour and the government at the presidential villa, Abuja. 

The meeting was attended by Labour leaders, including the President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, and that of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Festus Osifo.

Mohammed Idris said the President said the government would make massive investments in facilities that would make life better for Nigerian workers.
As a way of ameliorating the high cost of living by workers, President Bola Tinubu also promised to give 36 CNG powered buses with a sitting capacity of 100 each to the TUC and NLC.

This was one of the highlights of the meeting between the Federal Government and the two central trade unions in Abuja today.
